The centerpiece of The Club at Irish Creek is a spectacular golf course created by Davis Love III. Love’s Signature Course takes full advantage of the extensive lakefront, the rolling terrain and the mature forest. “The property is just gorgeous,” said Love, who likened the course to Pinehurst No. 4, site of the 2008 U.S. Amateur. “To be able to create a lakefront layout so close to a major metropolitan city like Charlotte, you don’t find sites like that anymore.
